Hey
I want to know weather fimo clay, sculpey etc are safe for hamsters and other rodents? I like DIYs and making my own stuff so wanted to know if I could make hamster accessories (bowls, ladders, toys..) with it.
Hoping for an answer soon!

No, I don't think so. It is a lot like plastic and if swallowed it could get lodged in your hamsters throat. Hope you found this helpful!

Ok thanks Mangle-Bear
This is fimo clay www.polymerclayweb.com/aboutpolymerclay/brands/fimo.aspx No it's not like play-dough. This clay you can bake at home and it comes in a variety of colors. There's another brand called Sculpey too But I'm still not sure as to weather it's safe, and until I'm completely sure I don't want to try it. So I'll be sticking with normal pottery clay , which is a pain as it has to be glazed so that it's not porous any more.
